How do I get to Naxos?

Fly into Athens or Santorini, then take a ferry (3–5 hrs from Athens, 1.5 hrs from Santorini). You can also fly directly from Athens to Naxos (40 min).

No — Canadians and Americans can stay in Greece (and the Schengen Zone) up to 90 days visa-free.

The new electronic travel authorisation system ETIAS is still not yet in operation — it's scheduled for rollout and won’t become mandatory until approximately late 2026

We recommend booking flights to Athens first, then using FerryHopper.com or Sky Express or Aegean for ferry and domestic flight options.

How do I get from the Naxos port/airport to my hotel?

Accepted Answer

Taxis are waiting at the airport whenever flights arrive. Depending on the accommodations you have booked, a shuttle to your hotel may be included. You can also rent a car and arrange to pick it up at the airport upon arrival - make sure you book it on Expedia beforehand. 
Note that we will have wedding shuttles from central points to the venue on the day of.
